It’s that time of the year again when winter is fierce and I make it a mission to immune myself from any colds.
Here, I’m sharing you my Grandma’s secret recipe for fighting colds. Before going to bed, intake this mixture:
- 1 tsp. honey
- 3 tsp. olive oil
- 2 medium heads garlic, peeled
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
Do not drink or eat anything after you drink this mix.

First of all, you need to know that I LOVE to eat, I have a sweet tooth (and I’m not mentioning the problem I have with my dentist, we will talk about that in another post).
As far as I can remember, I have always loved to eat and bake biscuits – yes, I’m that kind of girl who enjoys baking!
So how did I get into super-foods?
I was amazed by my friend who recently had a baby within a week, she was almost back to her normal size. I know we all have different bodies but her secret got me convinced.
Despite my regular fitness routine, I was looking for something to give me all the nutrients my body needs for a healthier everyday life.
After much research… here is my secret recipe to feeling good:
- 1 tsp. Chia
- 1 tsp. Hemps seeds
- 1 tsp. Flax seeds
- 2 tsp. Goji berry
- 1 date or dry fig
- 1 ½ cup Kale
- 1 cup fruits (organic frozen fruits)
- Milk (unsweetened almond/soy/coconut)
If I don’t have time to eat during the day, or feel like cooking I will add the following to the mix:
- 1 cup of Raw Meal from Garden of Life (Vanilla Flavor is my FAVE)
- 2 tsp. of cacao
Blend everything at once.
I personally use NutriBullet and love it!
After this juice, I feel great and my skin has never been better.
